Airflow treatment

What is Airflow? Airflow is a modern, gentle method of professional teeth cleaning. With a fine stream of water, air and a soft powder, I loosen bacterial deposits, such as biofilm (plaque), and surface stains from coffee, tea, wine and snus. The method also reaches between the teeth and along the gum line, where a toothbrush often struggles.

How it can improve your oral health. By reducing bacteria and deposits, the teeth become smooth and clean, which makes it harder for new deposits to stick. This supports healthier gums, can give fresher breath and lets your teeth's own colour show better.

Good to know. Airflow is gentle on gums and enamel and suits many people with sensitive teeth. Hard tartar is removed with instruments, and Airflow is not bleaching. That is why the two treatments are often combined in the same visit.
